5.Apply a special repair mask to avoid infection caused by other masks. Do not wash your face on the day after using derma roller.

6).SAFETY INFORMATION:

• Create a sterile environment. Wash hands with soap and warm water. Wash the treatment area thoroughly, and dry with a clean towel. Be sure to clean a designated surface to place the things you'll need during the process.
• Apply a thin layer of topicaine numbing gel to the treatment area. This step is only necessary for a deep, intense treatment; therefore it only needs to be done once a week. Wipe off any excess gel with a paper towel.
• Roll the derma roller in different directions on the skin---four rolls vertically, horizontally and both diagonals should be sufficient enough to ensure desired results and stimulate collagen formation in the skin.Do not press too hard, but apply a significant amount of pressure. If you use your derma roller without the topicaine gel, less pressure should be applied.
• Wash the area with cold water, and dry gently with a clean washcloth. Apply a quality moisturizer or lotion, preferably with vitamins C and E for best results. If you've used the topicaine gel during your treatment, use an antibacterial cream followed by a quality moisturizer.

Q1: How many minutes should you derma roll for? About 5-10 minutes,dragging the roller in a new direction will only work to harm the skin. Also, apply a gentle amount of pressure and don't overdo it. In total, derma rolling takes about 5-10 minutes (spend at least a minute on each section of the face) so it's a super short process.

Q2: What should you not do before using a Derma roller? Sunscreen and suntanning creams are both not recommended right before and after dermarolling. You should stay away from a suntanning cream, for a longer period. Sunscreen, on the other hand, is really beneficial when used every day for a week or two before dermarolling.

Q3: Can I wash my face after Derma rolling? The short answer is yes you can wash your face after dermarolling, but please wait 6 hours to let your skin heal. If washing immediately after the procedure will reduce the beneficial impact of dermarolling.

Q4: What are the side effects of derma roller? Like all cosmetic procedures, microneedling isn't without risk. The most common side effect is minor skin irritation immediately following the procedure. You may also see redness for a few days.
